Accepted Insurances
Motor Vehicle Accident Insurance
If you were in a car accident in Oregon, you are eligible to receive at least $15,000 toward your health care costs. Also called Personal Injury Protect (PIP), motor vehicle accident insurance benefits can be used for numerous health care services, including chiropractic.
To Open a Medical Claim:
- Call your auto insurance company (a claims adjuster will be assigned to your case and will help you open your claim).
- Provide our clinic with the following information: the name of your insurance company, the name and phone number of your claim’s adjuster, your medical claim number (from your adjuster).
Workers Compensation
If you suffer an injury on the job and open a Workers’ Compensation claim. A chiropractic physician may be your “attending physician” for up to 60 consecutive days or 18 visits from the date of the initial visit.
If you are already seeking care from another doctor (the “attending physician”), you can get a referral from that doctor for chiropractic care.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. Your chiropractor can assess and treat you without referral by a doctor. However, some health insurance plans require a doctor’s referral before they authorize coverage of fees.

Chiropractors are university-credentialed professionals with expertise in injury diagnosis, injury treatment, exercise prescription, injury prevention, rehabilitation and many other areas of sport and health and fitness.
Be prepared to provide your previous medical and/or surgical history. If you have them, please bring x-rays and/or scan/MRI reports, and a list of medications.
The number of treatments will vary depending on the problem and individual. After a thorough assessment, the chiropractor will discuss a treatment plan with you.
