Chiropractic Care for Whole Body Wellness

Saige Chiropractic Treats Acute and Chronic Musculoskeletal Issues

Although back and neck pain are the conditions most often linked to chiropractic care, spine and joint adjustments can help with a number of ailments ranging from tension headaches to knee injuries. Chiropractic therapy helps improve the alignment of the spine and other joints to relieve pain and improve functionality without surgery or drugs. Additionally, chiropractic care and spinal manipulation are also often used as part of a general wellness regime, to improve immune function and to help improve energy, memory and concentration.

Below are a Few of the Acute and Chronic Conditions We Treat.

Lower Back Pain

Pain in the lumbar spine region – or lower back – is one of the most common reasons people seek out chiropractic treatment. Lower back pain can be caused by muscle strain, spinal ligament strain, or disc issues. It is often associated with improper lifting, poor posture, or repetitive motion. Sometimes simply moving in an awkward way can trigger pain in the back. Chiropractic care can help alleviate pain and improve mobility.

Neck Pain

Spasms, strains, pinched nerves and general wear-and-tear can all cause neck pain. Chiropractic adjustments can help reduce pain and improve range of motion, while addressing inflammation and loosening stiff joints.

Tension Headache

Tension headaches are headaches that can be felt in both the neck and the head, as an ache behind the eyes or in just one area of the head. They are caused by a number of issues including stress, back and neck pain, jaw clenching, poor posture and whiplash from a car accident or other trauma. These headaches can last for hours or days, but many people find relief through adjustment. By relieving the tension in the neck, chiropractic care can be a safe and very effective treatment for tension headaches.

To Open a Medical Claim:
  • Call your auto insurance company (a claims adjuster will be assigned to your case and will help you open your claim).

Sacroiliac Pain

Sacroiliac pain (SI) is joint inflammation that often presents as a stabbing or dull pain radiating from the hips into the lower back. The condition typically affects one or both sides of the body and is made worse with walking, climbing stairs, or prolonged standing. Trauma, osteoarthritis and pregnancy are conditions that often exacerbate this type of pain. Chiropractors can help by administering spinal manipulation and/or mobilization.

Shoulder Pain

The shoulder joint is one of the most complex joints in the human body. With so much range of motion there is ample opportunity for injuries including bursitis, pinched nerves and impingement. Spinal adjustments along with joint adjustments to properly align the shoulder, clavicle and scapula can help alleviate pain while improving functionality and range of motion.

Knee Pain

Chiropractors can help patients with knee pain by adjusting the knee joint itself, but also by addressing the hip and back issues that may be the root cause of the issue. Adjustments can help correct posture, reduce inflammation and address the spinal misalignments that often contribute to knee pain.

Whiplash

Whiplash, often caused by rear-end car collisions, is a neck and shoulder injury that can result in long-term pain that sometimes lasts for months and even years. Chiropractic care can help alleviate pain while improving mobility and addressing side effects including migraines and arthritis.

I have been going to see Jamie Ellis for the last year for neck and upper back issues. Jamie has transformed my life. My pain is 99% better with her chiropractic care and other techniques that she’s recommended or implemented, such as Graston. For most of my life, I have never been one to go to a chiropractor. I’m now hooked and this is part of my self-care regime on a quarterly basis. I’m incredibly grateful!
